      Variable FTE, Day shift with weekends required. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered. You will work at the 3819 John Wall Drive location in Madison, WI.

      We are seeking a temporary Registered Nurse – Clinical Support to:

      • Work 19-38 hours a week (9.5 hour shifts) between the hours of 7:00 am –5:00 pm. Shifts are available Monday through Sunday.
      • Perform procedures, tasks, and follow up care within scope of practice such as nasopharyngeal swabbing (nasal swab) and oropharyngeal swabbing (throat swabs) tests, laboratory specimen collection, pre and post preparation, and vaccine administration for UW Health employees, patients, and the general public.
      • Provide supervision/oversight of non-licensed staff.
      • Engage in and lead quality improvement activities.
      • This is an evolving project with multiple opportunities for process improvement and diversification.

      Education:

      Minimum – Graduate of school of nursing

      Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

      Work Experience:

      Minimum – Six (6) months of RN experience

      Licenses and Certifications:

      Minimum – Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin. CPR/BLS Certification
