      Responsible for the total direct nursing care of all patients within established standards of care, hospital and unit policies, procedures, and guidelines.u00A0u00A0

      u00A0 RN RESIDENCY PROGRAM DETAILS : EvergreenHealth's Residency Program consists of group practicums and lectures that support the graduate RN to mitigate the education-to-industry gap. We foster growth in the clinical, professional, and transitional aspects of professional nursing practice. The Residency program incorporates collaborative team support by managers, preceptors, and clinical nurse educators.u00A0u00A0

      u00A0 RN Residents require a Washington State RN license and a Healthcare Provider CPR card by your hire date and a two-year employment commitment.u00A0u00A0

      Primary Duties:u00A0u00A0

      1. Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.u00A0u00A0

      2. Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.u00A0u00A0

      3. Coordinates the patient and family/significant other education process.u00A0u00A0

      4. Continuously plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process.u00A0u00A0

      5. Participates with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care.u00A0u00A0

      6. Effectively communicates all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in timely way.u00A0u00A0

      7. Communicates and documents changes in patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.u00A0u00A0

      8. Accountable for following the guidelines for attendance, punctuality and overall dependability. Accountable for effective performance and follow-through of all assigned responsibilities and for completing responsibilities within designated (or agreed upon) timeframes. Completes responsibilities in a manner consistent with organizational policy, goals, and values.u00A0u00A0

      License, Certification, Education or Experience: u00A0u00A0

      REQUIRED for the position:u00A0u00A0

      • Bacheloru2019s in Nursing (BSN) required within 5 years of employment if applicable
      • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington by date of hire
      • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire
      • American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of date of hire.
