What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process release of information requests accurately and efficiently
- Validate requests and authorizations for medical information release
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve client concerns
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all information
- Work within client/site policies, HIPAA regulations, and labor regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma (GED) required
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience in a medical records department preferred
- Strong computer software experience, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work remotely and provide on-site support as needed
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
