What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review requestor information to determine records to be released in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
- Answer phone calls and assist with various ROI issues
- Log medical record requests and scan records into the database
- Handle and record cash payments for requests at specified sites
- Comply with site facility policies and regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proficiency in computer applications and data entry
- Ability to work independently and meet production goals
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and proven dependability
- High School Diploma/GED required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1+ years of experience in Release of Information in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
