What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Edit, proofread, and revise complex Board documents related to climate finance and governance
- Ensure all documents adhere to the organization's editorial standards and express ideas clearly
- Provide guidance to Secretariat staff on documentation matters as needed
- Support the documentation process during and after meetings of the Board
- Consult with staff to clarify ambiguities and rectify substantive errors in documents
What is Required (Qualifications):
- University degree in linguistics, literature (English), international relations, political science, environmental studies, or a related field
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience with a Master's degree, or nine (9) years with a Bachelor's degree, in document preparation and revision
- At least two years of experience working for an international organization
- Strong written, editorial, and analytical abilities, with excellent organizational and planning skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with intergovernmental processes and the workings of the United Nations or similar organizations
- Experience in editing documents related to technical or specialized fields
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and in fast-paced environments
