- Manage business development, customer relationships, and sales for the Residential Electrical & HVAC segment within the United States and Canada to achieve revenue goals.
- Organize work schedule to efficiently manage remote and in-person interactions with existing accounts as well as generate new leads and customers.
- Establish relationships at multiple levels of the customer organization to develop a thorough understanding of the customer’s needs.
- Work closely with VP-Growth to develop and execute market growth initiatives, which will include but is not limited to expanding Amifast’s geographic market for Residential Electrical and HVAC products.
- Portfolio expansion:
- Through close customer relationships, identify new products that complement Amifast’s offerings in the assigned segments.
- Work closely with Afinitas/Amifast management team to evaluate the commercial viability of adding such products
- Develop and execute plans to bring them to market.
- Work closely with Liberty Hill’s Inside Sales Manager to generate quotes and enter orders into company’s ERP system (INFOR).
- Keep management informed by submitting weekly activity and results reports. In time, utilize the company’s CRM system (Salesforce).
- Resolve customer issues and complaints by investigating problems and working with other company departments to identify and implement solutions.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information and relaying it to management.
- Develop and maintain deep technical knowledge of the company product line.
- Work within the financial bounds of the budgets.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years related sales experience or 5+ years of experience working in the Residential Electrical or HVAC industries
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Willingness to travel to grow and maintain contact with the company’s customer base
- Proficiency in using MS word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Technical aptitude with strong ability to learn and apply technical knowledge related to products and processes
- Ability to handle shifting priorities and deadlines
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required
- Ability to remain calm and professional during peak periods of activities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability manage time and comply with all work-related deadlines
- Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
- Personal ownership and pride for the quality of work
- Strict adherence to safety protocols
- Willingness to assist in other areas as needed
- If successful candidate is in Liberty Hill area, this position will have an office at the Liberty Hill location but will also require travel to customer locations both locally and domestically.
- The Liberty Hill location is primarily a warehousing facility. As such, the employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the employer when in the operational area.
- From time to time, as demand requires, all employees at this location may be called upon to perform duties outside of their normal job description, but within their physical capabilities.
