What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage with the Field Sales team and clients during the initial onboarding period to learn about the paint and coatings industry
- Support Territory Representatives by selling products and programs to lower-volume customers
- Manage temporarily assigned territories, including scheduling and utilizing CRM systems to drive sales
- Establish yourself as a customer expert while demonstrating customer-centricity and a consultative approach
- Participate in ongoing training and promotional campaigns to enhance product knowledge and sales skills
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Very strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
- Ability and willingness to relocate within a designated region after the Sales Associate program
- Availability for up to 80% travel, including overnight stays for training and events
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- A four-year college degree preferred or a combination of education and customer-facing work experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
- Demonstrated passion for servicing customers and creating solutions
- Comfortable speaking in front of small to medium-sized groups in a professional setting
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and commitment to building a career path
- Good computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
