Job Description

- Analyze data, develops spreadsheets and instructions to disseminate to local sales offices, identifying key areas of non-compliance to business rules.
- Reviews data to identify basic trends and analysis. Reports findings to supervisor, manager or director for action.
- Ensure SOX compliance for non-pay business rules, promotional eligibility rules in order to prevent revenue loss for the organization.
- Responsible to stay up to date with all current and new promotions for all Residential Sales.
- Monitor credit analysis reports to ensure all sales reps are within adherence
- Investigates all C- Level/Corporate Escalations using established company or departmental policies and procedures. Identity process breaks and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Responsible for testing all new offers, rate codes and product rules in IDA.
- Perform call audits for the Sales organization to use for coaching purposes.
- Responsible for submitting Billing Request when error reporting is needed and follow up to ensure all error reports are current in adherence to Sales compliance.
- Responsible to attend weekly compliance meetings to identify trends, new promotions and rate codes.
- Responsible for organizing and maintaining confidential files and completing project-oriented tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Creates and maintains logs, records, databases and files.
- Utilizes various PC software packages such as spreadsheets, word processing, and graphics to produce high quality reports, presentations, or other documents.
- Process Early Termination Refunds according to established guidelines
- Maintain SLA's for mailboxes. Take calls on escalation queue when needed.
- Participates in complex projects and performs other duties as assigned by Manager.
- 60 college credits preferred with an emphasis on computer science or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong working knowledge of EMS, BOSS databases, IDA and Salesforce preferred
- Have previous experience with database reporting preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with an aptitude for numbers.
- Expert knowledge of Excel required.
- Previous analytical experience preferred.
- Proficient knowledge, with proven experience, of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrable logical skills.
- Ability to think critically and analytically
- Ability to maintain highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy.
- Basic concepts of MicroStrategy
- Data mining and querying preferred
- Basic database design preferred
- Ability to solve problems independently
- Ability to multi-task when needed
- Basic concepts in Microsoft Access

Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, candidate must possess a strong ability to adapt and adjust in an ever-changing environment. The Compliance Analyst is a multi-faceted role that supports both East and West Residential Sales Organizations and ensures compliance to the order entry process. Primary function is to analyze and manage data according to sales organizational needs. Must be able to analyze and present insight from informational data. Must have the ability to identify trends and provide continuous updates that will help improve existing processes and drive business solutions. The Compliance Analyst is responsible for SOX compliance and ensuring adherence to all order entry processes for Residential Sales departments. Secondary function is to research and resolve C-Level/Corporate escalations. Third function is to ensure accurate processing of Early Termination refunds.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $59,758.00 - $95,613.00 /year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
