What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers, Territory Managers, and other departments to resolve inquiries and issues
- Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness, while promoting engagement with US Foods online services
- Actively support Territory Managers by maintaining regular contact with their customers and driving sales performance
- Leverage proprietary systems and tools to provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries
- Provide administrative support for processing credits, special orders, and other sales-related tasks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of customer service experience required; experience in food service distribution preferred
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a solid problem resolution ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
- Ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously and drive them to successful resolution
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous sales experience preferred, but not required
- Working knowledge of CRM tools, especially Salesforce.com
- Experience in food service distribution is a plus
