What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary contact for Territory Managers and customers, providing administrative support and resolving inquiries
- Process customer orders and ensure accuracy through internal order entry systems
- Engage with customers to promote ongoing promotions and opportunities to up-sell or cross-sell products
- Collaborate with Territory Managers to drive sales performance and maintain customer relationships
- Utilize US Foods systems and tools to answer inquiries and provide insights
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of previous customer service experience required; food service distribution experience preferred
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with solid problem resolution ability
- Ability to influence and persuade customers to purchase products effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous sales experience preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with CRM tools, especially Salesforce.com
- Experience in food service distribution is a plus
