      Our client specializes in providing premium hair products and tools to the professional beauty industry. Naviga has been retained to recruit a Sales Director to drive a new go-to-market strategy.

      Title: Sales Director
      Location: Remote, US

      Responsibilities:
      • Hire, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team, offering guidance, coaching, and accountability to deliver individual and team sales goals
      • Plan and establish sales quotas for Sales Managers' marketing area and ensure
      that they met
      • Have a clear, teachable understanding of target customer behavior and sales
      cycle
      • Create and implement sales training and coaching initiatives for the sales team
      • Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships through your team by
      understanding their customers' needs, addressing concerns, and delivering
      tailored solutions
      • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer feedback is consistently
      implemented across service or product
      • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and developments to
      inform sales strategies
      • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to foster valuable
      connections
      • Collaborate with other departments, such as Marketing, Education, Ops, and CS
      to ensure a streamlined and efficient sales process
      • Initiate and influence major projects involving data tools, collection, and analysis
      to provide insights around territory utilization, sales rep analysis, pipeline
      analysis, territory profiling, and best practice sales processes
      • Proactively create and implement sales process improvements and adoption of
      more effective tools
      • Structure, document, and communicate rules of engagement and sales policies
      balancing the appropriate level of required documentation and ease of use

      Requirements:
      • 10+ years of experience in sales, consulting, or similar roles within the Pro
      Beauty space
      • 4+ years in a sales leadership experience with go-to-market strategy and execution
      • Proven track record of leading a sales team
      • Ownership mindset, flexibility, and ability to manage ambiguity
      • Stakeholder management skills coupled with strong written and verbal
      communication skills are a must
