What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial qualification and discovery to negotiation and closing
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with owners and operators of large-scale wind and solar farms
- Leverage deep domain expertise in the renewable energy ecosystem to provide tailored solutions
- Conduct hands-on product demonstrations and Proof of Value (POV) projects to showcase product capabilities
- Communicate market trends and customer insights to marketing and product teams for strategic alignment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 5 years of proven direct sales experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically wind or solar
- Strong understanding of the wind and solar farm ecosystem, including key stakeholders and operational challenges
- Results-driven "hunter" mentality with a passion for identifying and closing new business opportunities
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Degree in engineering, finance, or economics is preferred
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise customers in the renewable energy sector
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in navigating complex customer environments
- Previous experience with RFX proposal processes and cross-functional collaboration
