What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop a 5-year Strategic Growth Plan for the Pet & Animal Wellbeing (PAW) portfolio, focusing on customer segmentation and market opportunities
- Create and implement regional commercial strategies to expand the customer pipeline in the pet market segment
- Drive revenue growth and achieve gross margin targets according to the strategic plan
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and internal teams to ensure successful integration of ingredient solutions
- Manage sales processes and customer relationships using CRM tools, particularly Salesforce
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Nutrition/Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or Business Administration; MBA preferred
- Minimum 10 years of business-to-business (B2B) technical sales experience in Pet Health/Nutrition
- Proven track record in strategic account management, contract negotiations, and revenue generation
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence across global teams
- Proficiency in CRM tools, especially Salesforce and Power BI
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the probiotics industry and product management in pet health and nutrition
- Previous leadership experience in market development and commercialization of new probiotic-based pet nutrition products
- Strong collaborative skills across matrix organizations, preferably on a global scale
- Visionary and strategic mindset with a customer-centric approach
- Innovative and agile in identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities
