What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Utilize consultative selling skills to understand customer technical requirements and provide tailored solutions
- Prepare and deliver solution presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept for cybersecurity products
- Collaborate with product management and business development to recommend strategic product enhancements
- Work with customer success and technical support teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant products, competitors, and market trends
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of Sales Engineering experience in DDoS Mitigation, Web Application Firewalls, API Management & Security, or related cybersecurity solutions
- Foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP, CDN, load balancers, proxies, and firewalls
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, or other containerization technologies
- Prior experience in API security, API management, SIEM, DevOps, or DevSecOps
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as PCI, SOX, and HIPAA
- Familiarity with value-selling/consultative methodologies and playbooks
- Proven ability to effectively present technical material to diverse audiences
