      Job Description

      Job Title: Sales Engineer

      Key Objective:

      To represent Acme Brick Company as the technical subject and education resource

      pertaining to the brick industry.

      Main Duties & Responsibilities:

      • Provide continuing education credit training to architects in the form of (AIA)

      approved presentations.

      • Provide technical consultation and training for company associates.

      • Represent the company and industry’s interest with national organizations such

      as:

      o Brick Industry Association (BIA)

      o ASTM International (ASTM)

      o The Masonry Society (TMS)

      • Trouble shoot and consult on masonry jobsite problems within the Company.

      • Have a general understanding of building codes and standards related to

      Company’s products.

      Skills & Experience Required:

      • Technical problem-solving skills

      • Good communication and presentation skills

      • Proficient in Power Point and Microsoft Office

      • Sound organizational and time management skills

      • Willing to travel up to 30% of your time

      • Interactive listening skills

      Education:

      • Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Preferably structural engineering.

      • 3 to 5 years related work experience.

      • General understanding of the construction industry.
