What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify and develop territory potential, establishing new customer relationships to achieve long-term market share targets
- Build and enhance relationships with various customer types, including building owners, developers, contractors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, including proposal preparation, budgeting, pricing, and post-sale customer interactions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with different departments to drive optimal job performance
- Lead customer marketing events for existing and new customers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 5+ years of outside sales experience, ideally 2+ years in construction, building materials, or a similar field
- Willingness to travel (~50%) and work from home
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge and experience in general civil engineering and construction industry practices
