Job Description Summary
As Lamb Weston embarks on a transformational journey, many foundational components must be developed including technology implementations, process, policy, and change management programs. The Sales Specialist will partner in process development, policy drafting, and daily execution of Sales Operations activities with sales and business partners. The Sales Operations Analyst directly supports the BU Sales Specialists by providing administrative and analytical services as requested by Sales.Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Individuals in this position must:
• Process and Manage K-12 Bids. Providing product item specifications, pricing and meeting the request of the bid and optimizing distribution.
• Conduct Contract Entry including Validation, Modifications, and Approval tracking.
• Conduct Promotion Entry including Validation, Modifications, and Approval tracking.
• Provide Sales with Post Event Reporting.
• Conduct Operator pricing and volume analysis through distributor reporting and CRM management.
• Monitoring Sales History and providing variance analysis.
• Assist in expediting opportunities for the front-line sales teams.
• Assist with new product listings, slotting and new item placement.
• Analyze customer trends, issues and advocate appropriate resolution to maximize customer experience.
• Cross functional coordination with Sales, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to maintain and update product forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide timely resolution and clarifications.
• Other Duties as assigned to support the business.Basic & Preferred Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this job.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management preferred; or equivalent related experience or training
• 3 years of experience Entry level role Sales Operations or equivalent role
• Ability to leverage computer software programs, specifically Salesforce, or a comparable workflow solution, in addition to office productivity tools
• Ability to interface with and influence personnel cross functionally.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects
• Ability to work independently and as a team player, be organized, and plan ahead
• Ability to maintain, develop, and execute departmental vision
• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly while also teaching others
• This position will involve limited travel as needed to support the role.
• Valid Driver’s License and driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving StandardsWork Environment
