      Prologis is seeking a Sales Manager E-mobility that will be the main responsible to grow our business in Europe. Prologis is a major player in logistics real estate in Europe. We own over 1,000 commercial real estate assets in 12 countries in Europe.

      In June 2022 Prologis committed to net zero pathway by 2040 across our entire value chain, a decade ahead of the 2050 timeline with an interim target of net zero operations by 2030. In addition to becoming one of the world’s largest onsite solar energy producers, Prologis will actively facilitate our customers in their transition towards zero-emission fleets and sustainable logistics.

      The transition to electric vehicles will transform how Prologis’ customers operate their fleets. Millions of current delivery vans, medium-duty vehicles and even heavy-duty trucks will be replaced by electric variants. Medium and heavy-duty electric fleet vehicles of the future will largely be charged at warehouses and mobility hubs. By 2030, we expect over 10M electric vehicles in our North American, European and Asian markets, with many GWs of charging capacity needed to meet our customer demand. With the expanding market penetration of e-commerce and the resulting growth in warehousing space, Prologis will become an even more important stakeholder that can accelerate the transition to clean, sustainable logistics. This puts Prologis in a unique position to leverage its real estate, development platform, renewable energy expertise, and customer base to build a large-scale turn-key electric vehicle charging business. To accelerate our growth in this domain, Prologis have set up a dedicated Mobility department in a high-pace, fast-growing start-up environment, focusing on developing and operating charging infrastructure across the globe.       The role

      We are seeking a passionate sales manager that is self-motived and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you have a strong background in energy solutions (i.e. rooftop solar, EV, storage). In this role you will be primarily responsible for leading the sales and delivery of the Energy and Mobility Solutions in Germany.

      The right candidate has strong sales skills in the areas of energy and mobility, is a self-starter and able to work independently. The role is crucial to help solve customer pain points with regards to the transition to zero-emissions by providing customers with our Mobility solutions. The Mobility teams is essentially a start-up within Prologis, so it’s a great opportunity to leverage existing skills to help build and grow the business.

      What’s Needed In Order To Do That

      • Identity and develop customer engagement across the portfolio, supporting customers at different stages of the vehicle electrification journey and translating customer needs to solutions that can scale.
      • Lead development with target customers, including value proposition development, financial analysis, partnerships, and internal and external channel strategy.
      • Develop new customer accounts driven by a deep understanding of their needs and requirements, in close collaboration with your colleagues in the Product and Infrastructure Solutions functions.
      • Develop purposeful relationships with automotive OEMs and logistics providers with the objective of creating solutions that enable the acceleration of Prologis’ customers transition to ZEVs.
      • Align strategy with customer engagement
      • Provide input to the Product Development function to ensure repeatability and scalability of solutions.
      • Support the development of standardized practices to identify customer needs and develop projects
      • Deliver on objectives and targets including but not limited to sales volume, and market share.
      • Establish and maintain high-impact peer-to-peer relationships with customers and prospects.

      Tell us if you’re ready

      • Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s degree preferred
      • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in the Energy/Mobility industry in a fast-paced environment
      • An understanding of commercial fleet economics and logistics, and the challenges associated with the industry’s transition to ZEV’s
      • Exceptional interpersonal, financial, and business acumen
      • Customer centric and innovative mindset focused on solving customer pain points by providing solutions and business models that meet the customer’s need
      • Competency in understanding and explaining technical and engineering solutions
      • Track record of developing commercial opportunities in high growth environments
      • High degree of fluency in sales methodologies
      • Ability to understand, calculate, and present complex financial analysis to customers
      • Excellent customer service and organization skills
      • Interest in innovation, energy solutions contracting, and a passion to serve others
      • Self-motivated with ability to multi-task, prioritize and focus on generating new business with minimal direction
      • Positive, innovative, and collaborative attitude
