      Job Description

      Role Summary

      Join our team as a Sales Manager for The Woodward and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge family, you will be responsible for developing relationships with key travel agencies and partners to identify business opportunities and maximize revenue. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the intricacies of the luxury hotel market and be comfortable meeting and exceeding revenue goals as well as being an excellent communicator and negotiator.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Support the hotel’s leisure revenue goals by generating transient business for the property

      • Build relationships with key, luxury consortia accounts including: Virtuoso, AMEX, Signature, FHR and others

      • Collaborate closely with operations to ensure VIP recognition and seamless service.

      • Solicit, negotiate, and service appropriate luxury FIT/wholesale accounts as it relates to agent training, marketing, reservations, etc.

      • Identify and host high-value accounts through targeted FAM trips to enhance conversion and loyalty.

      • Analyze forecast, cost, and revenue reports in order to make strategic decisions

      • Accurately maintain and build the database of clients.

      • Evaluate promotional events, trade shows, community and industry events to make sure attendance produces the proper return on investment.

      Qualifications

      • A minimum of 3 years experience as a Hotel Sales Manager, on property experience will be considered as a plus

      • Ability to influence & build rapport with key stakeholders

      • Self-motivated with a competitive spirit to achieve goals

      • Excellent presentation & communication skills to be able to effectively represent the property

      • Ability to travel to attend trade shows, client meetings, local tourism meetings and other key events

      • Fluency in English and French is mandatory. Proficiency in German or any other language is highly preferred and considered a strong asset.
