What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Book mid to large sized Corporate, Association, and Government meetings
- Strategize unique deployment of market to sell guest rooms, meeting space, and other services
- Prepare road maps, conduct site inspections, and solicit business
- Participate and may lead event meetings, sales, and staff meetings
- Drive sales and revenue through effective sales strategies and relationship building
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hotel Large Market Sales experience
- Minimum of 3 years of Sales experience in the Mid-Atlantic/DC US region
- True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Hyatt experience preferred if residing outside of the Mid-Atlantic/DC region
- Completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training
- Refined selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills
