- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or engineering.
- At least 5 years’ experience in sales of optical fiber or fusion splicer-based solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience, engineering, or marketing of optical fiber-based products or equipment in the telecom or datacom industry.
- Understanding of Mobility, FTTH, Data Center, Long Haul and Outside Plant (OSP) applications and business.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Demonstrated ability to successfully create and present compelling value propositions that drive new business development and increased sales.
- Ability to train clients, as needed, at a variety of technical levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative and cohesive team environment (Marketing, R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing) and adjust to multiple and changing priorities.
- Record of success developing profitable partnerships with large customers.
- At least 5 years of experience in fusion splicer applications engineering or training.
- Manage and grow Fusion Splicer sales
- Prepare improved Fusion Splicer marketing materials and value propositions.
- Manage and continuously update the sales funnel
- Manage and grow sales rep firms
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with sales rep firms
- Provide marketing and training support to sales rep firms.
- Survey VOC of customers on new product and support needs.
- Prepare and communicate VOC internally.
- Track and report OFS sales performance
- Demonstrate effective communication (verbal, written) skills
- Maintain discretion when working with confidential and proprietary information
- Strict adherence to Company safety policies and procedures Conform to all aspects of OFS’ “Standards of Conduct” Policy.

Description
Fusion Splicer Americas Sales and Marketing Manager
This position will primarily be responsible for leading outside sales and promotion of Fusion Splicer products, Splice on Connectors, and other related products in the NAR and LATAM market.
The Fusion Splicer Americas Sales and Marketing Manager will create compelling marketing materials and value propositions, manage the sales funnel, track sales results, and train sales teams and channel partners including sales representative firms and distributors. The successful candidate will continuously solicit the voice of the customer from end customers and channel partners and report these findings to the Fusion Splicer leadership and product development team, help set product pricing, and track and report sales results and trends.
The preferred location is Norcross, GA, however other locations will be considered.
