      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee sales, marketing, and merchandising of assigned publishers' books to indie bookstore accounts
      - Manage and grow business relationships with accounts to maximize sales effectiveness
      - Stay informed on industry trends, new titles, and competitive landscape for accurate forecasting
      - Attend regional trade shows, author signings, and other relevant events
      - Self-manage territory and office responsibilities, including travel and sales materials

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 3 years of publishing sales experience, including direct selling
      - Strong awareness and interest in the publishing industry, including titles and authors
      - Proven ability to cultivate and maintain business relationships in book sales
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Teams applications; Edelweiss experience is a plus

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Prior direct account management experience
      - Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed
      - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
