      Exciting opportunity for a driven, self-motivated, intellectually curious leader to influence the future trajectory of the Cat Care business unit (Fresh Step, Scoop Away, and Ever Clean brands). Come be a part of a high-performing, growth-oriented team that is reimagining how we work!

      As a Cat Care Customer Sales Planning Manager, you have an opportunity to develop a unique breath of experience as a leader influencing the 3-5 year innovation pipeline, deeply understanding consumer trends and behaviors, planning strategy for a wide range of customers including large, marketing leading retailers, and driving new go-to-market strategies (inclusive of channel strategies, developing AMPS guidance, creating trial/awareness demand plans, etc.).

      In this role, you will:

      • Lead development of customer facing strategic vision, influencing innovation pipeline in service of driving consumer-centric, scaled innovation platforms that deliver short and long term growth aspirations.
      • Drive go-to-market strategy across retailers and innovation platforms to best deliver profitable growth for Clorox and customers, leading quarterly retailer innovation summits.
      • Ability to influence up to create new join business planning paradigms and test boundaries/orthodoxies of what is needed to be successful in a dynamic marketplace.
      • Mobilize, train, and influence the field sales organization on new processes and multi-type innovations.
      • Provide coaching and support as to develop a strong team and cross-functional partners.
      • Build team culture, Inclusion Diversity Equity & Allyship and engagement.

      What we look for:

      • Proven experience in sales planning within the CPG industry. (Typically requires 5+ years of CPG experience.)
      • Deep understanding of and curiosity for customer insights and competitive intelligence, with the ability to translate ambiguous findings into actionable strategies and go-to-market plans.
      • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with experience coaching direct reports and cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
      • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven storytelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both internal and external stakeholders.
      • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends, customer landscape, and consumer behaviors.

      Workplace type:

      This role will be required to be in Oakland, CA and in office 3 days out of the week.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

      Zone A: $121,900 - $240,100
      Zone B: $111,700 - $220,100
      Zone C: $101,600 - $200,100

      This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
