What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect for new clients by dedicating a minimum of 1-2 hours daily to lead generation
- Respond to client inquiries with sensitivity and professionalism, building trust-based relationships
- Collaborate with funeral directors and cemetery staff to provide seamless service
- Maintain communication with families, ensuring their unique needs are addressed
- Prepare for appointments and follow through on customer requests and concerns
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of college education or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales industry experience preferred
- Current state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass the employer’s internal presentation certification within thirty days of hire
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the funeral services or related industry
- Proven ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Empathetic and respectful demeanor when interacting with clients
