What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and track consignment and loaner inventory to ensure optimal usage
- Provide case coverage in the assigned territory and manage accounts effectively
- Prepare and submit call reports as required by the District Sales Manager
- Aggressively solicit orders from existing and prospective customers for assigned products
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, and conventions as directed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of sales experience, including 2 years in medical sales; or 2 years of Medtronic Neuroscience Clinical Specialist experience plus 2 years of prior clinical/sales experience; or an Associate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of sales experience; or a Bachelor’s degree
- Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy
- Ability to travel as required for the position
- Experience in an operating room setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of people
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in ortho, spine, or operating room environments
- Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule
- Previous experience with Medtronic products or services is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to resolve customer complaints effectively
- Familiarity with inventory management and sales reporting processes
