This is an onsite position and requires you to work from our Port of Spain office.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for inbound and outbound calls to potential donors to acquire donations for a global relief and advocacy organization. This is an opportunity to work on behalf of an organization whose focus is to help the world's vulnerable youth overcome poverty and experience life to the fullest.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Handle inbound and/or outbound customer inquiries and assist in providing them with additional information that may include offering additional services, upgrading current product and/or service and reinstating customer accounts.
• Create awareness for effectively communicating client offers and incentives through professional phone and email channels as required.
• Deliver a consistent and professional level of service at all times.
• Achieve set targets (sales and telemarketing metrics) and other performance indicators (accuracy, efficiency) consistently.
• Monitor and ensure completion of account requirements.
• Champion company core values and other company programs
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in customer service or talking with customers on the phone is required
• Previous experience in a sales or call center position for a Non-Governmental Organization is a strong asset
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport and connect with customer base
