JOB SUMMARY Our Territory Managers develop and maintain strong relationships with key clinical account personnel by providing solutions to improve the clinical outcomes for patients. Territory Managers are responsible for meeting revenue and profitability goals in their assigned territory, which is accomplished by delivering exceptional service, selling all Apria products, and increasing market share. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Achieve territory specific performance goals regarding sales, sales calls and growth. Partner with leadership to develop specific strategies to achieve sales, customer satisfaction and profitability goals. Maintain positive relationships with existing accounts and referral sources in order to foster growth. Drive sales growth and increase market share by conducting sales calls via telephone and in person visits to establish new relationships with referral sources in the medical community. Use Apria reports and data to identify referral targets. Create a call plan and log sales calls along with the decisions and outcomes into the company customer relationship management system (CRM). Instruct referral sources on the use and application of Apria products and services by educating them on treatment options using presentations and clinical data. Ensures order and prescription documentation is complete and accurate. Maintain accurate records on prospective and active accounts ensuring the correct information is sent to reimbursement offices for billing and collection. Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction by following up on customer inquiries and orders; including partnering with branch team members to ensure timely order processing and delivery. Communicate and explain Medicare and private insurance reimbursement guidelines. Performs other duties as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES N/A Minimum Required Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or equivalent is required. At least one-year related experience is required. At least three years of outside sales experience, successfully meeting or exceeding established quotas is preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations An active, valid Driver’s License and auto insurance per Apria policy is required at all times. Will be required to drive personal vehicle. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES Customer/Patient-Focused Action Oriented Collaborative Effective Communication Energetic & Passionate Relationship Builder Computer Skills Intermediate computer skills Language Skills English (reading, writing, verbal) Mathematical Skills Intermediate level mathematical proficiency, with a strong ability to understand, interpret and develop spreadsheet data. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision. Regularly required to use hands to write, use computer, operate a motor vehicle, use a handheld device, telephone and use a document imaging system and manipulate documents. Regularly required to read documents and write neatly, legibility and transcribe accurate information and numbers/values. Employee continually engages in activities that require talking and hearing. This position requires frequent variations including sitting, walking, standing, kneeling, reaching or stooping. Strength Aspects: Frequently required to stand, lift, push or pull objects ranging from 10 lbs - 50 lbs. General lighting is generally provided via florescent lighting indoors, and natural lighting outdoors, and low light conditions consistent with outdoor and/or night working environment. During off site travel the employee may be exposed to higher noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection, with moderate potential exposure to moderate dust, chemicals, fumes and odors, as well as cryogenic and cleaning agents.
