Sales Trainer

General RV Center is hiring immediately for a Sales Trainer in our Wixom, MI location.

The Sales Trainer is tasked with providing support and training programs for current processes and standards, as well as assisting in the rollout of new programs. By doing so, this allows the organization to deliver on its mission of being the premier RV partner for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate online and in person training classes with sales reps for all General RV locations.
• Work with sales directors to identify areas of potential improvement and solutions to drive the success of our sales teams at all locations.
• Collaborate with our Instructional Design Team to create learning programs and resources for the sales team.
• Partner with sales managers to create individualized training plans for the sales reps at their stores.
• Perform store visits involving one-on-one and small group training sessions to address knowledge and skill gaps for the sales reps and sales managers.
• Use store and sales representative KPIs to identify business needs that can be addressed through training.

Qualifications

• Strong facilitation skills
• Bachelors degree from an accredited university is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience within a customer-facing role
• Must have highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to travel up to 40%
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure in order to achieve deadlines.
