      Job Summary :

      This role is responsible for the development and implementation of Salesforce Health Cloud solutions to support business and patient services operations. The Salesforce Developer will work closely with stakeholders across the organization, both functional and technical, to build scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that enhance patient engagement, care coordination, and operational efficiencies. This role requires deep technical expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud with a strong understanding of healthcare data models and patient-centric application development, integration with external healthcare systems, and working in regulated environment(s).

      Core Duties/Responsibilities :
      • S alesforce Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce Lightning Web Components, Apex Code, and SOQL, extending Health Cloud platform capabilities with user-driven design. Conduct independent unit testing prior to quality assurance activities to ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of Salesforce solutions.
      • Salesforce Configuration and Customization: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions including objects, fields, workflows, page layouts, validation rules, and security models, all while ensuring alignment with the agreed-upon architecture and design, and adhering to best practices and standards. Collaborate with solution architects to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions within Salesforce (e.g., tools to ensure efficient and timely processing of tasks and/or automate business processes).
      • Integration: Designing and implementing seamless integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems (both internally and externally, likely via Mulesoft), including CRM, EHR, marketing automation, pharmacy management, and other third-party applications.
      • Continuous Improvement: Staying updated on the latest Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends, and recommending enhancements to existing solutions to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

      Periodic Responsibilities :
      • Solution Design: Creating technical solutions aligned with business requirements, leveraging the Salesforce platform's capabilities, starting with Health Cloud and Experience Cloud, and potentially Service Cloud Voice, Marketing Cloud, and others.
      • Data and Analytics: Manage data integrity by defining and developing data governance policies and validation rules, performing regular data audits, and streamlining the resulting data cleanup efforts. Administer data imports and exports to support less frequent data exchange requirements. Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and streamline business processes.
      • Documentation and Training: Creating technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user guides, and providing training and technical support to end-users as needed.
      • Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with business stakeholders, project managers, and other cross-functional team members to ensure the successful delivery of Salesforce solutions on time and within budget. Proactively identify user needs and suggest approaches that optimize user experience and drive adoption. Create and maintain user roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.


      Skills & Requirements :
      • Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL.
      • Experience with FHIR, HL7, and REST/SOAP APIs for healthcare integrations.
      • Deep knowledge of Salesforce Heatlh Cloud and working knowledge of Mulesoft Anypoint platform.
      • Familiarity with Salesforce Experience Cloud and Shield is a plus.
      • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
      • Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and willing to accept changing priorities as necessary, while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
      • Experience with all aspects of Agile methodologies and traditional software development lifecycle, including code control and deployment.
      • Working knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements is a plus.


      Education, Certifications and Experience:
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
      • 3-5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with at least 1 year (3 preferred) specializing in Health Cloud.
      • At least one of the following Salesforce certifications required: Javascript Developer, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I & II, Mulesoft Developer, Hyperautomation Specialist.
      • Salesforce Health Cloud Super Badge or Partner certification preferred.


      Physical Requirements:
      • As a remote-forward organization, this position operates in a professional office environment and teleworking from the employee's home address listed in their employment file.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000 based on experience and qualifications, with the final offer reflecting skills and other job-related factors.
