      The Salesforce Technology Lead is a key role in the business, accountable for technology decisions aligned with the goals of the recently established Salesforce practice, ensuring a commercial and innovative advantage over other technology service providers.

      The core responsibilities include influencing the strategy and setting the technology direction for the Salesforce practice, being a technical advisor to the business and to our clients at C-level, representing Kainos as a technology evangelist and thought leader, and developing Salesforce talent across the organization.

      You will be accountable for the quality and integrity of our Salesforce technology strategy and delivery across our engagements, using your expertise to develop innovative AI-driven solutions and to guide our delivery teams on high-profile programmes. You will act as a senior technical liaison with our customers, Salesforce UK, and Salesforce partners, maintaining a public persona, publishing insightful views and promoting collaboration in the Salesforce ecosystem.

      You will also contribute to business development, working with our sales and account teams to identify and qualify opportunities, supporting presales activities, bids and proposals, ensuring our solutions are secure, scalable, innovative and aligned with relevant standards and Salesforce best practice.

      MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS:

      · Proven experience being accountable for different sizes and shapes of technology delivery, e.g. services project, multi-team programme, packaged product. Building relationships and influencing at a c-suite level.

      · Significant experience operating at a senior or director level on large-scale Salesforce implementations within the UK (preferably public sector).

      · Exceptional understanding of and experience in delivery methodologies and models specifically designed for software as a service.

      · Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Sales, Service, Experience, and Data Cloud.

      · Salesforce certifications including Certified Application Architect and/or Certified System Architect (Certified Technical Architect preferred).

      · Experience with complementary technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, M365) and integration with legacy systems.

      · Proven experience delivering secure, compliant solutions aligned with UK government standards and best practice.

      · Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate, motivate, attract, develop, and mentor high-performing technical teams.

      · Strong commercial awareness and experience supporting bids under frameworks such as G-Cloud, DOS, and TS3.

      · Excellent skills in managing conflicting demands and performing effectively in complex and difficult situations, including negotiation, conflict resolution and relationship management.

      · Willingness to travel to client workshops and Salesforce events across the UK as needed (estimated at 6 days per month).

      DESIRABLE:

      · Active SC or DV clearance. (Eligibility to obtain clearance is mandatory).

      · Salesforce certifications in additional specialisms such as Public Sector Solutions
