What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct complete credit analysis for new, renewal, and extension loans
- Gather, analyze, and interpret credit information on existing and prospective customers
- Review customer accounts and portfolios to identify and evaluate credit quality issues
- Utilize technological tools to assist in the credit analysis process
- Make recommendations and decisions based on credit evaluations and comparisons
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Typically four or more years of relevant experience in credit analysis or commercial lending
- Strong credit analysis and analytical skills
- Thorough knowledge of credit policy, procedures, and risk analysis
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in economics, accounting, and/or finance
- Master's degree or CPA certification
- Effective technical report writing skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using various software packages
