      Overview

      This is a full-time career opportunity that can be remote within the Fulton Bank footprint as follows: DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA.

      Responsible for underwriting and closing support for the Small Business Administration function, including the efficient and timely decision making in terms of credit risk and all required documents for Small Business Administration. Develops and analyzes all types of credit information on Small Business Administration loans. Works on credits for all industries and is expected to maintain competency by staying well informed and up to date on industry trends and Small Business Administration regulations and standard operating procedures. Ensures compliance with all Bank and Small Business Administration Regulations and Standard Operating Procedures.

      Responsibilities

      • Determines Small Business Administration eligibility on Small Business Administration loan requests. Prepares all financial documentation, analyzes and structures loans, assigns risk rating and prepares approval documents, on all types of Small Business Administration loans including more complex.
      • Coordinates and prepares all documentation required regarding the Small Business Administration application, and correspondence with the Small Business Administration office. May require direct interaction with loan applicants.
      • Responsible for assisting in the efficient and effective operation of the Small Business Administration Department. Assisting the Small Business Administration Relationship Managers in the underwriting, processing, and closing of Small Business Administration loans.
      • Provide exemplary customer service for both internal and external customers by meeting and exceeding service level agreements.
      • Maintain current knowledge of all related Small Business Administration regulation, Bank Policies and Regulatory requirements. Maintain or build relationship with Small Business Administration office, attorneys, consultants, to continue growth and development in knowledge and understanding of issues within Small Business Administration and industry.

      Qualifications

      Education

      Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Accounting, business administration, or finance. (Required)

      Experience

      5 or more years Working knowledge of commercial bank products and commercial credit analysis. (Required)

      5 or more years Working knowledge of MS Office. (Required)

      5 or more years Small Business Administration loans with loan structuring. (Preferred)

      This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager.       Pay Transparency

We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

      The salary range for this position is $79,100.00 - $131,800.00 annually.

      Additional Compensation Components

      This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
