What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build cloud-native services using Scala and open-source frameworks such as Akka and ZIO
- Develop unit and integration tests using Scala Test
- Actively participate in stand-up meetings and peer code reviews
- Support clients through system integrations and resolve production issues
- Collaborate closely with the Investments Product Management team throughout the software development process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Degree in Software Engineering
- Minimum of 9 years in web-based application development
- At least 2 years of experience with Scala (Node.js or Java is a plus)
- Strong understanding of relational or NoSQL database concepts and modeling practices
- Excellent communication skills and solid problem-solving abilities
