At eBay, we 're passionate about connecting people with the things they love. As the world’s biggest online marketplace, we pride ourselves on technology-led innovation and want to help shape the future of commerce across the globe.

As a global brand, our purpose is to create opportunities:

      • For individual sellers, small businesses and large merchants worldwide
      • For shoppers seeking value, selection and convenience
      • For our people, who seek to make the world better

      Role

We’re looking for a Scaling and Retention Program Manager to join eBay Australia’s Seller Initiatives team to kick-start our efforts in scaling and retaining both new and existing eBay sellers.

The successful candidate will focus on the design, implementation and ongoing management of a new program aimed at identifying and supporting high potential and high risk (unmanaged) sellers at varying points in their customer lifecycle. The role will also oversee broad scaling activity across our promotional and inbound acceleration programs.

This role will require you to bring your robust program and project management experience, strong partner engagement skills and will be deeply cross-functional in nature - both locally and globally.

This role is based in our Sydney office, where we operate a flexible work policy. Our current policy requires a minimum of two days per week in the office and is a full-time role.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Lead the design, implementation and execution of a end-to-end scaling and retention program
      • Partner with key internal team members to identify appropriate resourcing solutions to solve for critical business gaps
      • Build and maintain educational onboarding material/content for supporting team-mates
      • Facilitate training for supporting team-mates as business needs evolve
      • Identify assessment criteria and launch frameworks that allow prioritisation of seller candidates for scaling and/or retention development outreach
      • Oversee appropriate campaign management and tracking rigour through key enablement platforms (HIVE)
      • Own internal reporting of impact measurement and return on investment narrative/assessment
      • Support the business in prioritisation of seller development levers through outside programs (aSelleration)
      • Support the business in prioritisation of BAU/emerging issue resolution (e.g KYC)
      • Oversee 1 x FTE managing existing, cross-functional promotional/scaling activity

      About you

      • Experience in project or program management, coordination and communication across different levels of partners and seniority.
      • Experience in seller acquisition and business development principles, with a target driven attitude and strong commercial acumen
      • Excellent collaborative problem-solving with a high level of maturity
      • Strong analytical and strategic awareness, ability to challenge, influence and make recommendations dependent on feedback
      • Strong verbal and written communication, with ability to convert complex problems into simple solutions
      • Strong relationship builder, with ability to influence peers and senior leaders across multiple functions and geographies
      • Ability to thrive in a collaborative setting within a global, matrixed environment
      • Strong EQ, with an awareness of cultural differences when working in a diverse global team
      • Upbeat, dynamic and comfortable with working through ambiguity
      • Self-motivated, organised and detail-oriented

Note that eBay are not engaging Recruitment agencies to recruit for this position and interested candidates should apply promptly and by no later than 5pm October 16th 2023 if interested.
