What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule appointments for initial assessments, reassessments, and status changes for recipients and applicants
- Create, save, and mail appointment packets to recipients
- Make phone calls to find substitute appointments for assessors and reschedule as necessary
- Collaborate with the CAS team to enhance scheduling efficiency
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of one year of scheduling experience
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Knowledge of Medicaid
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Effective time management abilities
- Experience working with older adults or people with disabilities
- Knowledge of healthcare, elderly, and disabled adult populations
