      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments using hospital software
      - Conduct insurance verification and benefit explanations for patients
      - Process walk-ins, create new patient charts, and maintain accurate patient information
      - Counsel patients on financial obligations and options, including discounts and Medicaid screening
      - Produce and manage various maintenance reports related to patient accounts and services

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school graduate or GED with seven years of experience in business office administration, customer service, or related work, including three years in patient registration, scheduling, or billing in a healthcare environment, or a Bachelor's degree with three years of relevant experience
      - Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
      - Well-developed decision-making skills
      - Proficiency in computer and keyboard skills
      - Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

      - CHAA certification
