What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to schedule patients according to physician-specific guidelines
- Collect and maintain accurate basic patient registration and insurance information
- Provide one-call resolution for scheduling and non-scheduling inquiries when possible
- Process multi-channel messages related to patient requests, including appointments and referrals
- Achieve and maintain quality and service goals related to contact center metrics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
- Bilingual communication skills
- Strong computer literacy, including the ability to navigate multiple monitors and programs
- Excellent customer service skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Experience in a patient contact center or similar healthcare environment
- Ability to assist with training initiatives for new hires
