What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to schedule patient appointments based on physician-specific guidelines
- Collect and maintain accurate patient registration and insurance information
- Provide one-call resolution for patient inquiries and direct non-scheduling calls to the appropriate departments
- Process multi-channel messages related to appointments, referrals, prescriptions, and complaints
- Achieve and maintain quality and service goals related to contact center metrics

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Proficient in medical terminology and computer navigation, including the ability to work with multiple screens
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize responsibilities

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare-related customer service role
- Familiarity with appointment scheduling systems and processes
- Ability to assist with training initiatives for new hires
