What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and analyze AC/DC and DC/DC power converters and EMI filters
- Generate power distribution architectures and conduct simulations for analog/power circuits
- Write and review specifications and test approaches for power supply circuit designs
- Lead design verification testing and participate in internal peer design reviews
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure program/project performance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or a minimum of 16 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
- Proven track record in designing power supply systems and EMI filters
- Proficiency in simulation and analysis of analog/power circuits
- Ability to lead a team and prioritize tasks to meet schedules and budgets
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination across engineering and manufacturing processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with electrical simulations using SIMPLIS and SPICE modeling tools
- Familiarity with CAD tools, preferably Mentor Graphics
- Understanding of power analysis with MathCad, Excel, or similar tools
- Experience with common lab equipment and design experience in military or ruggedized industries
- Ability to obtain a US DoD security clearance
