      This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We are currently looking for a Scrum Master and Project Manager in the United States.

      We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master and Project Manager to guide and deliver high-impact IT and digital initiatives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. This role combines agile leadership with structured project management to ensure successful delivery of software, system, and process improvements. You will facilitate cross-functional teams, coach on agile practices, and coordinate with stakeholders to achieve organizational goals. The position offers the opportunity to drive change, increase productivity, and implement innovative solutions while maintaining alignment with strategic objectives. Remote work flexibility and engagement with diverse teams across the organization provide a dynamic and meaningful work environment.

      Accountabilities
      • Serve as Scrum Master for assigned products, coaching teams in agile practices and facilitating Scrum events to maximize delivery value.
      • Evaluate product and project goals, objectives, and scope, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and organizational priorities.
      • Plan and manage project execution using tools such as project plans, burndown charts, business cases, and Ishikawa diagrams to provide predictability and visibility to stakeholders.
      • Coordinate and communicate regularly with leadership, business owners, and key stakeholders to report progress, risks, and issue resolution.
      • Lead change initiatives, remove impediments, and identify methods (agile, waterfall, or hybrid) to ensure team and project success.
      • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, including resource allocation, quality assurance, budget oversight, and documentation of deliverables.
      • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to improve agile adoption and the overall effectiveness of Scrum across the organization.

      Requirements
      • 3+ years of professional experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master.
      • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required; PMP certification preferred.
      • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, communicate effectively, and adapt to evolving project goals and organizational needs.
      • Strong organizational and leadership skills, including prioritization, planning, and stakeholder management.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reports, charters, presentations, and team coaching.
      • Change management expertise, with experience defining metrics for product adoption and continuous improvement.
      • Familiarity with procurement and budget management processes.
      • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and quality.
