The manufacturing facility produces more than 100 super-premium, award-winning ice cream flavors, and supplies more than 700 independent restaurants and scoop shops nationwide.

  Position Summary/Job Duties:	Job title: Seasonal Ice Cream Delivery Driver Reports to: Director of Warehousing and Logistics Job purpose: Are you ready to scoop up this summer job? We are seeking energetic and motivated individuals looking for a sweet summer gig working for an ice cream manufacturing plant as a Seasonal Ice Cream Delivery Driver! The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, wrapping, and delivering ice cream throughout the state of Wisconsin and greater midwest. We sell our ice cream directly to our vendors: ice cream shops, restaurants, movie theaters, golf courses... anyone who wants our award winning ice cream, and your job is to get it there! Routes change daily, and explore a wealth of great areas in the midwest. This physical job allows you to exercise at work, while also earning daily overtime, making it a flavorful combination! Duties and responsibilities: Load and unload product from vans manually. Transport and deliver ice cream and supplies to customers. Ensure route accuracy and timeliness of deliveries. Perform vehicle inspections and cleaning to ensure safety. Provide excellent customer service as the friendly face of our ice cream business. Ensure and follow all road and Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream safety guidelines. Follows direction to accurately fulfill orders when delivering to our vendors. Assist loading the delivery vans of your colleagues, as needed. Assist in other areas/departments of the plant as needed. Other tasks and projects as assigned by management.   Qualifications:	Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Punctual, predictable, and reliable attendance Cooperative and able to take direction Must be customer service driven Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Must possess valid driver’s license (a regular license is all that’s required) Clean driving record (No convictions for the following offenses, in any vehicle, in the last seven years): Driving under the influence of alcohol (.04 or greater alcohol concentration or refusing to test) Driving under the influence of a controlled substance Leaving the scene of an accident Reckless driving A moving violation in connection with a fatal accident Eluding a police officer Operated a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license Physical Requirements Must be able to constantly position self to effectively load all delivery vehicle types. Must be able to constantly move ice cream or supplies weighing up to 60lbs chest high. Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sitting) 85% of shift. Must be able to move about inside warehouse or wholesale locations. Must be able to work outside in inclement weather. Must be able to work in a freezer environment. Must occasionally be able to ascend/descend a ladder or stairs to stock/deliver to customers. Must be able to detect fire, trip, or other safety hazards. Education/Experience High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous driver experience preferred, but not required
