What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct risk and security assessments of applications, databases, servers, and network hardware
- Develop and execute remediation plans for identified security issues and vulnerabilities
- Advise on security architecture for new and existing systems, ensuring compliance with best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to address information security issues in a timely manner
- Oversee the security awareness program, including training and compliance tracking
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT security risk management or related fields
- 3+ years of experience assessing security controls, processes, and vulnerabilities
- Hands-on experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, or CISA are a plus
- Experience with identity and access management for both on-premise and cloud environments
