We are looking for independent, passionate, and deeply experienced professionals in the Security, Compliance and Assurance domain to provide depth in assisting our partners, customers and their stakeholders to understand and address their security, regulatory and compliance requirements in moving their sensitive workloads and heavily regulated data into the cloud.

      This key position requires specialized experience identifying and supporting regulated customers compliance requirments and efforts. The position will have high visibility at the most senior levels of government agencies, institutions, and Amazon including frequent interaction with Regulators, CISOs, CTOs, their staffs, and Amazon senior leadership. The position, as part of the Amazon Security Assurance team, will act as the primary Security Assurance Regulatory interface into jurisdictions through out Sub Sahara Africa. The candidate will already have and continue to foster key relationships, be able to interpret the impacts of policy changes, and track and report on industry trends.- Ability to investigate and analyze technical and regulatory issues. - Demonstrated ability to achieve ambitious goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
      Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent communication with peers and non-technical stakeholders.
      Experience managing projects through completion, across multiple areas of ownership, and delivering consistently on schedule.
      Excellent leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
      Travel may be required up to 30%.


      Key job responsibilities
      The Security assurance regulated sector lead provides strategy, guidance and insights to customer's assurance challenges. They will analyse, build and lead teams by creating effective mechanisms that enable regulated workloads for cloud usage.
      Demonstrated experience working with Regulators in Sub Sahara Africa
      Demonstrated knowledge of the Regulatory and Industry security challenges in Sub Sahara Africa
