  Position: | Full-Time Security Guard
  Site: | Providence Care - 525 Montreal
  Hours: | Weekly Rotation
  - Alternating Days: Mon/Tu, Fri/Sat | Sun, Wed, Thurs
  - Shift Hours: Monday to Thursday - 1500-2000 | Friday - 1400-2000 | Saturday & Sunday - 0700-1800
  Payrate: | $18.25/hour
  Note: The average weekly hours for the position fluctuates between 27/21 hours based on the rotation. Successful applicants must have Day/Evening availability 7 days a week to be eligible.

  Job Description:
  
  
  • Drop off and Pick up Equipment for Site
  • Responsible for Daily Report
  • Deliver interdependent Male Patients to Hospital Room
  • Provide excellent Customer Service to package recipients
  • Proactive & reactive security patrols
  • Response to incidents
  • Report writing
  • Investigate routine incidents
  • Patient and visitor screening and contraband control
  • Control of Forensic Monitoring Station
  • Additional Duties as Assigned
  Qualifications:
  
  
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)
  • Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)
  • A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)

    • Immunization Record Form
  • Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)
  • Valid Drivers License (G) for Ontario
  • Proficient in English (both oral and written)
  • Must be able to commit to the position for 6 months
  • 6+ months Customer Service experience is mandatory
  • 1+ year security experience is mandatory
  • Experience in healthcare, healthcare security, etc. is considered an asset
  • Must be able to provide certifications in Stay Safe
    • Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's Stay Safe training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
    • Please be aware: The Stay Safe training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
