      Job Description

      As a Security Officer - Healthcare Desk in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

      As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and patients, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management, all while providing outstanding customer service. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to support access control and may interact with alarm panels as part of your daily duties. By maintaining a visible presence at the front desk, you help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a positive experience for everyone entering the facility.       What You’ll Do:

      • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
      • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
      • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
      • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
      • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

      Responsibilities:

      • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
      • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required.
      • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
      • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs.
      • Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including communicating with emergency personnel and following evacuation procedures.
      • Support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior at the location.
      • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, addressing inquiries and providing information as needed.

      What We’re Looking For:

      • Availability across various days and shifts
      • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
      • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
      • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
      • Customer service experience is preferred.
      • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
      • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
      • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
      • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
      • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
