- Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
- Observe and report on activities and/or incidents that may impact the property, tenants, or visitors.
- Communicate clearly with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal as needed regarding security-related matters.
- Assist with access control and visitor management processes as required by site policies.
- Support emergency response activities in accordance with established protocols for the location.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
- Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
