  Allied Universal is looking for Security Professionals for a Logistics Warehouse site in Newark, NJ

  Part Time

  Shift Available : Monday - Tuesday, Evenings

  Pay Rate : $19.56 / Hour

  As a Security Professional - Logistics Patrol in Newark, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

  As a Screener in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your presence and routine patrols support a welcoming environment for staff and visitors, while your strong communication skills contribute to exceptional customer service. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This role requires you to remain visible and approachable, assisting with access control and responding to any security-related concerns as they arise.

  Position Type: Part Time

  Pay Rate: $19.56 / Hour

  Job Schedule:

  DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

  Responsibilities:

  • Carry out screening procedures and follow site-specific policies at logistics and distribution locations.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors as they enter and exit the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items through thorough screening processes.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members and site management to address concerns and maintain a secure environment.

  Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • NJ Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
