      Sunstates Security is hiring a Security Site Lead for a high-profile client site in the Menlo Park, CA area. The Security Site Lead (PSSL) will be responsible for assisting security operations, life safety response, event management, crisis response and BAU operations. The Security Site Lead will provide administrative support for tasks as assigned by site management and Sunstates Security Leadership.


      This position offers an annual salary of $110,000, with a weekly pay schedule.

      The primary job responsibilities of the Emergency Response Team lead are as follows:


      • Provide Life Safety Emergency Response Services at the assigned office.
      • Serve as local incident commander for onsite emergencies i.e. building evacuations, severe weather, or manmade crises.
      • Manage life safety systems and equipment such as CCTV, Security/Duress Alarms, electronic access control, and any other systems that may be installed at assigned offices.
      • Provide safety and security services to ensure a safe environment for all personnel including employees, contractors, visitors, and guests.
      • Monitor physical security alarms such as door alarms; as well as any audible alarm necessitating a physical emergency response.
      • Take prompt action to prevent or minimize losses, accidents, arson, property damages, or any other security incidents.
      • Provide any escorts throughout the facilities when required.
      • Ensure effective prompt reporting for both Incidents and observations to provide meaningful real-time recommendations of safety and security risks.
      • Interface with line of business leaders in office and region as required.
      • Assist with assigned administrative tasks and any other duties as assigned.
      • Support the Workplace Operations team as needed based upon our mutually agreed upon service levels.
        • Submitting work orders to the Workplace team and tracking status through completion.
        • When the Workplace team is not available, assist with receiving vendor deliveries for miscellaneous employee event functions, and help to place such deliveries in appropriate areas of the office.
        • Assistance in setup/takedown for such events.
        • Vendor check-in/escort for various trades and general contractors.
        • Coordinating building access with property management.
        • Assist with processing of parking, visitor, amenity space, and building access forms and passes.
        • Submitting support tickets in the event of conference room/All Hands issues.
        • Key control/log of who has vault, master, or other important keys.
        • Provide new employees a tour of office space and brief them on any workplace and security requirements/expectations.


      Requirements:


      • Ability to travel 30% of the time.
      • Must be flexible and drive change management.
      • Must have a high level of Google Suite operational knowledge.
      • Must be onsite during hours of operation Monday through Friday and during special events /Happy Hours to support Life Safety / on-site emergencies.
      • Ability to provide oversight, training, and support to onsite uniformed security to ensure operations run smoothly.
      • Participate in the interview and selection process for uniformed security.
      • Site Leads will also be required to wear radios, and utilize and train on the proper use of radios per procedure.
      • Ensure that all posts are covered at all times in Menlo Park.
      • Ensure schedules are created a month in advance and confirmed with the National Account Manager.
      • Ensure payroll is completed each Friday of the week and delivered for review by the National Account Manager.
      • Notification of issues, observations, and/or incidents through the local Regional Security Manager and National Account Manager.
      • Mentor and develop security officers working each position on site.
      • Perform all job responsibilities of all positions that report to the Site Lead.

      A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
