- Review and analyze the general ledger and prepare appropriate accrual and adjusting journal entries in accordance with GAAP
- Manage ERP time tracking for cost accounting
- Assist with the Accounts Payable/Accounts receivable processes
- Assist in the month end, quarter end, and year-end closing processes
- Analyze inventory transactions
- Review invoice billings and the respective coding on a timely basis
- Identify and release weekly payments of outstanding payables
- Assist in the compilation of information for the year-end audit
- Collaborate with others to support overall company goals and objectives
- Special projects as assigned by management

- Annual performance based bonus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of working experience
- CPA certification is a plus
- Cost Accounting in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently with attention to details
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with standard suite of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Knowledge of JD Edwards/Hubble reporting software a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and confidentiality

ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for daily accounting operations and cost accounting. The Senior Accountant’s responsibilities will also include performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other duties as assigned. This position, located in Olean, NY, will report to the Controller.

Divisional Overview
CIMOLAI-HY is a structural steel fabrication plant located in Olean, New York. When operational, the plant will produce 65,000 in estimated annual tonnage focusing on steel fabrication in support of development projects. The proximity of the plant supports various projects in New York City, Boston, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia.
