      The Financial Systems teammate will learn, develop, test, and manage the Hyperion Planning and/or Essbase financial applications. These applications are critical systems that enable the financial reporting, budget/forecast processes and business intelligence reporting. These systems support the Accounting, Corporate FP&A, Tax, and Finance departments. The teammate is responsible for administrating and maintaining current systems and assisting with development efforts for new databases and reporting capabilities.

      Essential job functions:
      • Maintain Planning and Essbase applications across all active environments (Dev. and Prod.)
      • Ensure ongoing maintenance and support of business rules, calculations, scripts, forms, Smart View templates, and reports with focus of continual improvement and efficiency.
      • Perform monthly and daily maintenance of Planning and Essbase applications including the execution and monitoring of extract and load processes.
      • Effectively communicate and coordinate with business stakeholders across multiple departments and geographical locations.
      • Proactively identify and communicate potential problems and issues to leadership team members as appropriate. Proactively identify alternatives and recommend/implement solutions as appropriate.
      • Assist teammates and resolve system issues.
      • Effectively communicate with stakeholders about system problems and issues to ensure effective prioritization and closure. Ensure issues are analyzed, discussed and resolved in a timely manner to closure. Identify risk mitigation steps and recommend actions to address both project and support issues.
      • Write and maintain documentation on reporting, business and system processes, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure that functional requirements, technical design specifications, and process flows are prioritized, detailed and complete.
      • Maintain user security and ensuring user access compliance.
      • Provide advisement on technical designs to ensure solutions are forward-looking and flexible for potential future requirements and business needs.
      • Assist in training new and existing users on all financial system applications. This involves developing training materials and guides.
      • Participate in project teams on assessment, design and implementation of a new Hyperion Planning and/or Essbase applications.

      Requirements:
      • Change management skills and agility to navigate through complex business and process changes.
      • Ability to handle confidential information such as budget, forecast, actual financial results and payroll information.
      • Hands on experience with major Hyperion, Essbase, Oracle implementation preferred.
      • Experience supporting global organizations.
      • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
      • Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization.
      • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Information Technology field.
      • 1-5 years experience with Hyperion Planning or Essbase.
      • Ability to analyze financial data and financial statements (P&L & Balance Sheet).
      • Knowledge of business mathematics, including the ability to calculate percentage changes, averages and weighted averages.
      • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to understand and manipulate basic spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Word.
